Describe yourself in no more than 25 words:
General Manager of the AMCA. Married, mother of two born and bred in Staffordshire. Hard working, fiercely loyal, dedicated and hopefully not a bad person to be around.
What was your first thought this morning?
Gotta let the dog out!
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A scientist – what went wrong?
What is your guilty pleasure?
Anything which oozes sugar and fat – doughnuts!
What is your most treasured possession?
Haven't really got one – family are most important thing to me but I wouldn't class them as possessions!
How would you most like to be remembered?
Don't spend too much time thinking about when I'm dead and gone, some will remember me fondly some will say good riddance – you can't win 'em all!
What was the last song you downloaded?
My son does that sort of thing for me – last album downloaded was Take That.
What was the last thing you ate?
Snickers – I love 'em but I still call it Marathon!
What is your greatest fear?
Being late for work!
If you could go back in time what era would you choose?
I'd go forward not back – I'm thinking being teleported to events or work would be great – no more M6!
What would you wear to a fancy dress party?
Mmmm, that's a tough one – I have a big furry pink panther suit in the loft – but that's another story...
What can't you leave home without?
My iPhone.
What was your most Embarrassing moment?
There are too many to pick one out – but I don't blush as much these days – must be getting used to it!
your favourite TV programme?
Coronation Street – no contest!
What would you do if you weren't involved in off-road motorcycling?
I'm sure I'd be working somewhere more mainstream but not getting as much job satisfaction. I'm lucky to work in a job which is part of a sport I really enjoy.
tell us your other sporting interests?
I'm a volunteer Inspector with the British Boxing Board of Control. I go to shows and make sure the rules are upheld. My husband Les are I are big boxing fans. I also run and am a member of Newport Running Club. I didn't start till a couple of years ago but have now finished two half-marathons. I'm also a Wolves fan but least said about that the better!
Who is your favourite rider?
Dave Thorpe – no contest!
What is your favourite off-road memory?
Going to the New Year's Day Scrambles at Hawkstone Park with my dad every year in the good olde days!
your favourite off-road event?
AMCA Skegness Beach Race – great weekend up on the East Coast, the locals are so welcoming! It's a hard slog for those involved in the running of it but it's well worth it. We're there again November 17/18 for what's sure to be a fab weekend!
What is your current ambition?
To ensure AMCA continues to provide quality, cost-effective off road sport for many, many years to come. AMCA is celebrating its 80th Anniversary this year and we're already looking forward to the centenary! In my opinion we are No.1 for off-road and I'd like to keep it that way.
