2009 ACU British Youth Motocross Championship

For all those budding youngsters hoping to get noticed in the Motocross world, the full list of dates for the 2009 British Youth Motocross Championship are here...
Oncemore the Championship will be visiting venues in all corners of the Country,including at least two venues that will form part of the Maxxis ACU BritishMotocross Championship Brampton, Cumbria and, one of the most popularadditions to the 08 Maxxis Championship,a final Round at Foxhill, Wiltshire.
Inaddition to the established Classes (Junior 65cc, 85cc SW, 85cc BW, 125 Open)there will be a new Adult' Open class for Clubmen, with 40 spaces open to ACUJunior Licence holders. The addition ofthis new class will allow parent and older brothers of the Championship ridersto compete at the same events.
TheACU will have a greater input into each event for 2009 to assist the clubs ofthe ACU in maintaining the high standard of the series and the introduction ofa Race Director will ensure consistency throughout the rounds.
Theusual Championship Registration fee is 195, but any rider registering for theseries before the 1st December 2008 will receive a 25 discount to170. Registering for the British YouthMotocross Championship ensures you receive all of the up to date informationregarding the Championship and entry forms for each respective round. In the event of your entry not being receivedthe ACU Motocross Dept will contact you to ensure nothing has been lost inpost.

The early Rounds have beenselected to run on sand tracks in order to allow a greater chance of running inthe event of severe weather, something that proved worthwhile during 2008!
The ACU have listened tothe comments made by Teams/rider in 2008 and have increased the blocks ofracing from three to four in all classes.
