Even though Christmas is still to happen it is time to start thinking about next year's premier UK motocross event, the British Motocross Grand Prix!
The date for your diary next year is a tad later tha usual with action happening on June 18-19.
Conveniently, this also happens to be Fathers Day! Handy that isn't it? No doubt about it, it's the perfect treat for the one special day in the year dedicated to your Dad.
And there are some great deals to make it that much easier on your pocket – just £40 for an Adult Weekend ticket, and £10 for a child.
The action packed weekend will continue its success at a superb venue that needs no introduction (but we will anyway)...the panoramic area-of-natural-beauty and multi-award winning circuit of Matterley Basin. Situated deep in the English countryside with excellent access routes, the track is a favourite among both riders and spectators.
The racing will be unmissable says British GP Promoter Steve Dixon. "The GPs at Matterley are just getting stronger and stronger. We've now hosted more GPs in the last 20 years than any other track in the UK.
"I feel proud to have brought an event that is my passion to my hometown of Winchester, where my love for motorbikes began.”
Once again the British leg of the now 19 round championship takes place just after the mid-point at round 12, where points really start to come into play, giving us some of the best racing in the calendar.
It won't just the be the likes of newly crowned champions Tim Gajser and Romain Febvre showing us how things are done at Matterley – it's an action packed weekend. Of course there's MX2 and MXGP but on top of that you can soak up the action from the Honda 150 series, EMX 125, EMX250 and EMX300. That'll keep you entertained from the moment you arrive all through your weekend.
Dixon takes pride in his efforts to keep costs down while trying to offer a weekend of unparalleled value for money. This is a spectator sport and it wouldn't be the same without you hanging over the fence, cheering on our boys.
The organisers have managed to secure the same amazing deals they brought you last year with the early-bird specials. For just £40 (limited numbers available) you can get yourself a whole weekend adult ticket, and only £10 more to bring your younger two-wheeled enthusiasts. Make sure you enjoy the whole weekend with camping and entertainment available on site (from 2pm Friday).
If you want to enjoy the British Motocross Grand Prix at the highest level, you can once again take the highly praised VIP experience – full details on www.britmxgp.com. Spaces are limited so order soon to avoid disappointment.
All trade queries should contact the organisers via the website for an information pack, and spaces will be offered on a first come, first served basis so catch one while you can!
The Early Bird offers can be purchased from www.britmxgp.com but are limited to 1,500 and the offer ends Jan 6, 2016 – but don't worry the prices will still be cheaper online!
"Stability and value will always be our goals here. We've won multiple ‘best track awards' which showed the effort put in by the team who make this event happen,” said Dixon.
"We continue to work with Youthstream who always strive to push the sport forward at the highest level. We're always working on improving every aspect of the British GP so you can be sure 2016 will be better than ever, at the same great price.”
Fancy winning a VIP family ticket? With two adult and two children VIP tickets up for grabs all you have to do is purchase a ticket during the early bird offer and follow the instructions on the website. With a value of just under £600 it's one not to miss!
