The Yamaha team was very secretive about the YZ450FM, which was all new. The team kept the bike beneath a bike cover when it was out in the open, and the team pit area was shrouded with opaque plastic windows which made it impossible to get a clear view of the bikes inside. Of course, there was no hiding the bike when it was being washed in the official wash bay
