News Motocross British Motocross Championship
The all-new MXGB team has leaked the first details regarding the 2025 British Motocross championship. “I want to share the current plans for the series as early as possible so that riders and teams can plan the season ahead and hopefully come and enjoy the new structure with us,” said Series Director Paul Irwin.
The 2025 championship will consist of eight rounds at all the UK’s top tracks. Dates and venues are expected to be finalised around November when the MXGP calendar is set. There will be three classes at each round – 125cc, MX2 and MX1.
The 125cc class will be in line with EMX age limits - roders aged 13-17.
MX2 is open to 15 years and above but incorporating the Under 21 British title.
MX1 open to 15 years and above.
The good news for the riders is there will be no registration fee to ride the series next year. Any rider of Expert level will be able to enter and have the opportunity to qualify on the day. Entries will be limited to 60 riders per class.
“We want to remove as many obstacles as possible for riders wishing to race the British championship. Free registration is stage one. The championship will give riders a great platform to showcase their ability in front of the industry and fans alike,” added Paul. “All rounds will be live streamed by MXGB-TV on a free to view platform. Anticipated views are over 100k per round.”
More news will follow very soon but for now any rider that may be interested in riding one or all of the rounds next season should complete this form to register. Remember it’s free!
Once added to this database we will continue to share with you details as the series plans progress but for now, we have three more rounds of the 2024 season to complete and it’s all to play for.
