The Urban Trial of Cahors, in France, was held again this year. This Trial is a very special test and is conducted along the streets of this French city so that the public can get a good view of this impressive demonstration of the sport, by the best riders in the world.
This is the first test after the summer layoff and is a great place for the World Class riders to test their form. The rider who showed that his summer was a good one was none other than Sherco rider Albert Cabestany. Albert did not give any option to the competition - with names like Takahisa Fujinami, Adam Raga, Dougie Lampkin, Toni Bou and Jeroni Fajardo – Albert rode the eight sections that were set up in the city of Cahors without putting a single foot to the ground. This was a fantastic result that permitted him to win the trial with an impressive "zero” on his card. Raga had seven points and Lampkin had twelve to round out the podium with the Sherco rider.
