KTMs Jonny Walker delivered the first win of the 2015 extreme enduro season to top the podium at Als Trm in France from Husqvarnas Graham Jarvis.
A new addition to the calendar, the Alès Trêm marked a return of extreme enduro to France.
Set out over two days, the event attracted some of the biggest names in the sport.
Becoming a perfect pre-season shakedown to February's Hell's Gate, Alès Trêm saw Jonny Walker (KTM), Graham Jarvis (Husqvarna), Andreas Lettenbichler (KTM), Wade Young (KTM), Blake Gutzeit (Husqvarna) and a host of top French talent included in the 400-rider entry list.
Kicking things off in style, Friday's endurocross prologue determined the starting order for Saturday's three-lap main event set out across the surrounding mountains.
Putting his recent SuperEnduro success to good use, Walker made short work of the afternoon's qualifying heats to take first pick of the starting gate heading into the night time Super Final.
Knowing a good start was crucial to avoid any trouble on the opening lap, Walker rounded the first corner in second and then quickly took control of the race lead.
