With Red Bull KTM Factory Racings Marvin Musquin at the helm, it was a solid day of racing for KTM at Round 10 of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship in New Berlin, New York.
In 450 Class Moto 1, Marvin Musquin powered into a top-five position off the start, with Dean Wilson just inside the top ten.
Musquin made quick passes to establish himself in a podium-position early on, where he charged ahead to capture a third place finish in Moto 1. Wilson dropped back to finish 11th place in Moto 1.
In Moto 2, Musquin, Wilson and BTOSports/KTM's Benny Bloss put themselves in a favorable position on the opening lap. Ken Roczen assumed the lead with Musquin close in tow as the duo immediately created a gap on the rest of the field. Wilson established himself just behind the front-runners with a hard-charging Bloss close behind.
While pushing toward the leader, Musquin experienced a crash on the iconic "U Turn” where he lost a couple of positions. Bloss took advantage of Musquin's misfortune as the young rider moved himself into the second place behind Roczen.
From there, Musquin charged hard to eventually regain his position in second, while Bloss and Wilson showcased impressive rides inside the top five. With 3-2 moto scores for the day, Musquin secured second overall at Unadilla.
Bloss went on to capture a career-best fourth overall. Wilson continues to establish himself in the standings after three rounds of racing following a knee injury.
