The AMCA stages its first major meeting of 2016 this Sunday (March 13) with round one of the Superclass championship at Long Lane near Telford.

This traditional early season opener held over just three rounds is an unlim-ited battle which sees the top MX1 and MX2 pilots from the previous year's AMCA British motocross series going head to head.

Defending the Superclass title will be Yorkshireman Richard Cannings but he is sure to come under intense pressure from a host of determined challengers looking to steal his crown.

Following the three motos at Long Lane the Superclass moves onto Bromsberrow on Easter Sunday before reaching its conclusion at Condover on April 3. Running alongside the Superclass for the first time will be a new Youth 85cc/150cc championship.

The Long Lane circuit can be found just off the A442 north of Wellington. Postcode is TF6 6HR.
