American superstar Ryan Ryno Hughes has been confirmed as an entry for the final round of the championship which will take place on the spectacular Landrake circuit on 27th September.
Hughes, who has ridden for Team USA three times in the Moto Cross of Nations event, has been a multiple stateside champion in his illustrious career, will be against some of Europe's best riders, including new MX1 champion, Brad Anderson, South African Gareth Swanepoel and a host of GP regulars. He will ride out of the Twisted 7 Honda camp and is sure to have some special factory parts fitted to his machine.
Stephen Sword and Sean Simpson will continue their battle in the MX2 (up to 250cc) class before Sword transfers to the MX1 category for 2010. The event also features the final round of the Dirt Bike Bitch Ladies Championship where world class riders including Natalie Kane from Ireland will have two races to decide the title over the 2,000 metre course.
The six race programme starts at 12.30pm with the final championship race scheduled for 4.35pm. However, for early arrivals, the Free Practice and Timed Training sessions start at 9am, with an autograph session at 11.40am where all spectators are allowed free access to the rider's paddock.
The Landrake circuit is situated just three miles into Cornwall after crossing the Tamar Bridge on the A 38 and will be well signposted from the village itself.
