And It's Hi Ho Silver Lining

Last Sunday Little Silver Off-Road Promotions presented the opening round of the winter series motocross championship at Little Silver Moto Parc, near Exeter.
Torrential rain had fallen prior to the meeting and the decision was made to grade the track early morning, before racing commenced. It proved to be a good decision and it produced some really quick and entertaining racing.
In the Expert class there was no stopping welsh whizz kid, Danial Preston, who took all three race wins, grabbing the holeshot in the first two motos and taking the lead on the opening lap in the last race, passing early leader, Wayne Shimell, who later got tangled in a rope.
Ben Griffith was Preston's closest rival in the first and final races, but was unable to get close enough to make a challenge.
In the Adult Open class there was some really close racing with three different winners. David Anthony just held off Tim Pearce in the opener and Kevin Curtin claimed race two, but there was no catching Pearce in the final encounter once he hit the front. He just raced away to take the win.
