Ashley goes wild!

ROUND five of the British Youth Winter Championships took place at a chilly Wilden Lane on Sunday, to another packed house. Although the weather might have been cold the racing certainly wasn't. Ashley Greedy and Shane Carless resumed where they left off last week in the Adult section, racing in each other's shadows for most of the day.
It seemed, however, that good luck had deserted Shane as he suffered a number of mishaps, handing a clean sweep of wins to Ashley.
At the end of the day it proved to be another PAR Honda one-two as Chad Yarranton, with another three excellent rides, took second overall with Tom Neesam in third.
In the other section of the combined Adult class races, Nathan Rookes showed his prowess by moving up a class to the Adult 125s but still managed to overwhelm the opposition with two race wins and the overall victory. Josh Waterman, likewise stepping up for some speed training, took the other race win. Ben Mycock rode on the pace all day to post second overall.
