Husqvarna Motorcycles arrive at the final round of the 2015 Enduro World Championship favourites to secure two world titles
Set to conclude what has been yet another incredible season of racing for Husqvarna in enduro, Bel-Ray Husqvarna Factory Racing's Mathias Bellino and Jamie McCanney enter the GP of France in Requista leading their respective Enduro 3 and Enduro Junior classes.
Poised to secure his debut senior title, Frenchman Mathias Bellino currently leads the way in the Enduro 3 category. The 2012 Enduro Junior World Champion has made the E3 class his own this year on his TE 300. Hitting the ground running with a race win on the opening day of the season in Chile, Bellino has proven himself as the rider to beat in the championship chase. Recording seven race wins and visiting the podium 10 times from 12 races, the Husqvarna rider benefits from a 24-point advantage starting the final round of the series.
In the Enduro Junior class, Manxman Jamie McCanney is within striking distance of becoming a 2015 world champion. In impressive form since the start of this year, the FE 250 mounted rider took control of the championship lead on day one in Chile and never looked back. Consistently finishing each day of competition on the podium, while also securing six victories, McCanney enjoys a very healthy 37-point advantage over his nearest rival.
While both Bellino and McCanney look set to follow in outgoing Enduro 2 World Champion Pela Renet's footsteps by delivering world titles for Husqvarna, teammate Danny McCanney has his sights set on ending his debut EWC senior season third overall in Enduro 1. Currently holding a four-point advantage over Lorenzo Santolino, McCanney will be pushing hard in Requista to end the year on a high for Bel-Ray Husqvarna Factory Racing.
Husqvarna Spain's Josep Garcia is fighting to secure top honours in the Youth Cup 125cc class, while Husqvarna UK's Jane Daniels is aiming to end the Women's Cup as runner-up.
The final round of the Enduro World Championship takes place in Requista, France, October 2-4.
