Bou, World Champion for second consecutive year

Toni Bou sealed the first position at Indoor Trial World Championship 2008 by winning last round held this late evening in Madrid. Repsol Montesa HRC's rider took an amazing victory that let him to overcome Adam Raga and Albert Cabestany in general standings and to assure the first place overall.

Bou put Raga under pressure during the whole trial and finally RepsolMontesa-HRC finished in first place the day he received the indoor crown..

On qualification lap Bou did the maximum from the first second and attemptedthe circuit with an excellent riding, clinching the business class ticket forthe final, ahead of Adam Raga, who did also a fantastic start despite two fives,at the beginning and in last part of the lap.

Albert Cabestany didn't have an excellent start, but a good high jump andexcellent timing allowed him to defend third place for the final. Sherco's riderdid a good performance in the final lap an thanks to the double lane race heachieved the second place in the podium.

Raga did too many mistakes in the final lap, but even having just achieved athird position in Madrid, he assured himself a second position overall.

James Dabill was substituted by Dani Oliveras, who did his debut in an IndoorSeries. Oliveras completed a start which was not bad but he didn't achieve morethan a seventh position.

Repsol Montesa-HRC rider Fujinami did a nice performance in the first lap,but a terrible mistake in the high jump let him out of the final. And theveteran Dougie Lampkin did a poor ride and just achieved a sixth position.

Indoor Trial World Championship 2008 arrived to its end with 7500 spectatorsand Toni Bou being the new king. Adam Raga and Albert Cabestany joined RepsolMontesa-HRC on final podium.
