It is now less than a week before the ACU British ISDE teams leave for Finlandfor the 2011 event. The Trophy team comprises Paul Edmondson, Tom Sagar, Si Wakely, Jordon Rose, Greg Evans and Ash Wood with the Junior team ofcomprises Isle of Man duo Alex Rockwell, Danny McCanney, plus Jonny Walker and Jack Rowland are all geared-up and ready to go.

All are due to arrive in Helsinki on Monday, August 1, before the 120km drive east to the event venue in Hamina/Kotka in anticipation of walking the first of the tests on Tuesday morning. Meanwhile the bikes will be en route, after loading their Rygor Commercial trucks at Bordon, courtessy  of Dave May Miller and the Army MCA team lads. The team have now been given their helmets, sprayed in team colours by Lee at dzign, and the team shirts have arrived and are looking good. The squad expect delivery of their Kriega equipment by tomorrow.

The loss of Arron Poolman from the team, due to injury, has opened the door for team manager Dusty Miller to now take a pre-rider/out rider and this job was keenly taken up by Justin Wilson who from previous form will certainly raise the teams morale! A more than able paddock support crew of Carl Bale, Julian Stevens and Leo Cordingley will be on hand to help with any last minute prep problems and tech support throughout the event.

Thanks to Ted Bartlett there's a hotel booked for the whole British contingentand most will have arrived by next weekend. Ted will also be the British Jury Delegate, although the squad hopes that all will run smoothly and will not have to use him for too much.
