For any of that to happen though, Aaron feels he needs a bit of help with this one. Here he explains his plans and hopes for 2018...
Looking ahead to next season, over the winter months Im going to train extremely hard to improve my smoothness. I believe that if I become much smoother it will allow me to increase my speed as well.
Throughout the week after work I train at the gym four times Monday-Thursday and I run every day after the gym to help my stamina and fitness levels. I try to ride as much as I can, usually thats twice a month but it is an extremely expensive sport. Also high on my priority list at the moment are some new sponsors for 2018. Before I say anything about that though, Id really like to thank all those who helped me in 2017.
It was awesome, massive thanks to Putoline UK, Acerbis UK, MotoX Matrix and RSS for their support this year. For next year Mark at RSS has already agreed to help me out again but I really need to find more help if Im to keep on improving to achieve my potential.
With the right support behind me I know I can be challenging for titles next year. At the moment Im riding a KX450 over the winter months, thats going real good at the moment I finished second overall in my first event recently.
Ill switch back to a 250F in the new year. Thats hopefully when I have a few more things sorted. Asked what his top five tracks are and is there any reason why he chooses to race unlucky No.13, Aaron said: Top tracks has to be, in no particular order, FatCat MP, Preston Docks, Lyng, Canada Heights and Brampton.
And, no Im not superstitious at all, the first bike bought for me had a No.13 on it I just stuck with it thats all it worked out well for me so far.
Good luck with all that Aaron, we know its tough out there right now when it comes to funding.
