TEAM JST GAS GAS RIDERS have just dominated all three classes at yesterdays British Trials Championship Round 3 held at 'Kellys Farm' near Torquay in Devon.
Shaun Morris (GAS GAS) rode confidently to win the Championship class infront of Graham Jarvis (SHERCO) whos injury was not as bad as we thought it would be after reading the pre-event press release from the ACU.
Admittedly Graham was indeed in some discomfort but there is simply no way you can ride at this level with a serious injury. Nevertheless, the ultra cool Graham rode well to finish second infront of Steve Colley (GAS GAS).
Steve made a few classic mistakes because the event was a little on the easy side and it cost him dearly. A 'gentle few words' from yours truely after the second lap ensured Steve to get his 'ass in gear' for the last lap, this he duly did and went clean for his last lap to salvage the final podium place.
Micheal Brown (BETA) rode well all day to finish 4th ahead of Sam Connor in 5th who beat a very off form James Dabil in 6th.
Sam Haslam (GAS GAS) won the Expert class in superb form ahead of Lee Sampson. With this win, Sam now leads the Expert Class overall in the points race by 1 point ahead of Dan Thorpe (GAS GAS) who had a nightmare of a last lap which put him down to 7th! Im sure this will be the round that Dan will drop at the end of the year as only 6 from the 7 rounds count towards the final championship.
Buxton boy, Craig Robinson (GAS GAS) finished 12th and now lies 16th in the Championship after 3 rounds.
GAS GAS riders filled the Youth Class podium with Alexz Wigg beating his fellow GG Teamsters, Ross Danby in second and Bert Andrews in 3rd. Wiggy would have finished 2nd in the Exp. Class, two marks behind Sam Haslam.
