British Youth Nationals Culham

This weekend sees Culham MX Park in Oxfordshire host the opening round of the 2019 Judd KTM British Youth Championship where the UKs leading motocross stars aged 21 and under will battle it out in the first round of their six-stop national tour.

The BYC offers up the most prestigious titles in British youth motocross and so all the top riders are lined-up along with a whole heap of series newbies wholl be eligible for the Rookies class.

There will be seven classes in action this weekend Autos, 65cc, Small Wheel 85, Big Wheel 85, 125, Open and Under-21 and while the 65cc and SW85s are chockablock there are a handful of spaces left in the other divisions so if your nipper ripper is needing a place to race this weekend then get in touch with the RHL Activities team.

The first round of any series is always an exciting one as all scores are even and nobodys too sure whos made big gains over the winter months. Adding to this anticipation is the new influx of talent into certain classes as the riders move up through the ranks as they get a year older the action at Culham is certain to be an eye-opener.

"2019 is certainly going to be a special one," enthuses Director of RHL Activities, Gareth Hockey. We have a lot of great support from the industry for the British Youth Championship and to help our riders with development opportunities and as well as recognition for their efforts during the year. Our goal is to give them targets to aspire to, while helping deliver education in areas they can grow if they wish to work in motocross as a profession in the future.

"Not only that, we continue to work hard on the racing side our goal is to create the next British World Champion, and we need to ensure that from a young age our riders are racing in a variety of conditions with the right support to achieve that. We cant wait to go racing, and Id like to say a big thanks to all of our partners, teams, parents and riders ahead of the season we cant wait to go racing."
