The partnership between KTM & RHL Activities is a three-year deal. Where Judd, KTM with help from RHL Activities will look to shape the riders of tomorrow during their youth careers into adult careers within the British Championship.
On top of KTM being involved as a major sponsor of the championship, KTM last week announced that for the first time in the UK the official KTM UK Factory Youth Motocross Team was launched. The KTM UK Factory Youth team will compete at the Judd KTM British Youth National Championship and will be known as the Judd Orange Brigade.
The partnership between Judd and KTM with the team will see them work together to provide an opportunity for youth riders to progress through the ranks with KTM to adult professional status. The team will cater for riders placed in categories throughout the youth range of disciplines, from 50cc, 65cc, 85cc small wheel, 85cc big wheel, 125cc, up to 250cc. Successful squad members will get to run under the teams set-up at British Youth National Championship events and take advantage of the comprehensive support KTM UK and Judd Racing can supply.
Commenting on the joint title sponsorship and the KTM UK Factory Youth Motocross Team is Simon Roots, KTM Marketing, Events & Motorsport Manager. Supporting a series that is designed to nurture young British talent is an obvious move for KTM. We are, of course, a READY TO RACE company, and as such we want to support RHL Activities to deliver a series that will turn the potential of youth riders into stars of the sport. With this sponsorship, we plan that the future of the sport is both bright and Orange
Michelle Arnold, Director of Judd Racing comments on the joint partnership and the Judd Orange Brigade. We're delighted that KTM will be working with us as joint title sponsors and their commitment to the series reinforces the Championships standing as the No.1 Youth Motocross Event in Britain. For Judd Racing it makes complete sense & synergy, what with the Judd Orange Brigade - The Official KTM UK Factory MX Youth Team being launched and competing at the now titled Judd KTM British Youth National Championship. There are some very exciting times ahead.
Gareth Hockey, Director of RHL Activities commented, For the British Youth National Championship and RHL Activities this is a fantastic partnership between both KTM and Judd being joint title sponsors. Seeing an official youth factory team in the UK is fantastic and with this in place, this will ensure as the official youth championship continues to grow, we are able to assist riders with their progression from their youth careers into adult careers with support from one of the top manufacturers in the world.
Following this announcement the championship will now be known as the Judd KTM British Youth National Championship and the new championship logo will be announced in the coming days.
