According to a press release from MXGP series promoter, Youthstream, following rumours that he is quitting the GPs to ride in America, Toni Cairoli has signed with KTM to ride the World Championship series again in 2012.The press release is printed in full below.
FUNCHAL (Portugal), 24 August 2011 - Rumours have been flying around, saying that Antonio Cairoli will participate in the AMA National series next year with KTM, but after talking with the concerned parties, it''s necessary to inform that these are only allegations and don't reflect the reality.
Antonio Cairoli has signed a contract with KTM to race the World Motocross Championship next year and for the future.
Now is the time to celebrate Antonio's marvellous 2011 season.
