American motocross and supercross legend Ricky Carmichael was the star turn in the GAS Arena at this years Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The 36-year-old multi-time US champion was a huge draw with the fans and he delighted the crowd with a series of outrageous whips as he mixed it up with FMX stars including Petr Pilat, Luc Ackermann, Dan Whitby, Samson Eaton and Arran Powley.
"For the five years we've been producing GAS for Goodwood welcoming Ricky Carmichael and having him take part with us was without doubt one of the biggest highs we've ever experienced,” said e22 Sports boss Matt Bates.
"His professionalism and ability to spend so much time with fans was a masterclass to any pro-level rider and I would personally like to thank Goodwood, Visit Florida and RC's crew for making this all happen.”
Alongside the FMX there was a packed programme of action sports over the four days with Dougie Lampkin and Jack Price showing off their trials skills, MTB star Chris Doney giving a masterclass in balance and a group of top BMX dirt jumpers hitting the ramps.
