Stoneleigh Park show's a record-breaker! BIGGER, BETTER, more successful - Dirt Rider Expo, Europe's #1 purely off-road motorcycle show, broke all records with its unique mixture of star riders, '05 machines, an action-packed Live Arena and super-flashy custom-built stands. "We're really pleased," reckoned Dave Watson of show organisers Promoto on the Sunday. "This year we've taken on the third hall and it was a bit of an unknown - we didn't know if we were going to fill it. But we've filled it with exhibitors and we're delighted that we've filled it with people as well. "All we know at the moment is that there's an increase in visitors on last year and yesterday was our busiest individual day since Dirt Rider Expo started." In fact, the final figures point to a five per cent increase on the '04 show with over 20,000 visitors making the journey to Stoneleigh Park. "Overall, if you go around the show there's more big purpose-built stands than ever before and the Live Arena's been the biggest we've ever done it," added Dave. "Yesterday we had two totally sold-out shows - that's 1000 people each time - and still the halls weren't empty and that's great. "In the past we've taken people into the Live Arena and there would be complaints that we were taking them away from the halls but that hasn't happened this year." The date for the next Dirt Rider Expo has already been set so get out your diaries and pencil it in - November 24-27 2005...
