The kids are back at school, the evenings are drawing in and theres a buzz around as the motorcycle industry prepares for one of the biggest attractions on the off-road calendar the International Dirt Bike Show, which opens its doors next month.

The line-up of manufacturers is incredibly diverse this year with new model launches and a host of innovative battery-powered off-roaders heading towards Stoneleigh Park.

On the machine front, the giants of the industry such as Honda, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki and Yamaha will line-up alongside trials and enduro specialists Beta and Sherco in the main exhibition hall, with Bultaco, Fantic, Mecatecno, Rieju, TM and Vertigo all on display in hall three.

The Spanish brand Bultaco and Italian Fantic marque are both making a welcome return to the UK and will make their exhibition debut at the show, with Bultaco launching its high-spec electric mountain bike while Fantic has a new range of 50cc, 125cc and 200cc Supermoto and Enduro spec models available in standard trim or full competition specificatin.

Feet-up fans will be keen to check out the new Vertigo Combat, the prototype of which was steered to Scottish Six Days Trial victory in the hands of multi-world trials champion Dougie Lampkin and British Trials Championship glory with James Dabill.

The production model will be on display at Stoneleigh Park, prior to going on general sale.

Couple this amazing line-up with extensive displays from the major distributors servicing the worlds of clothing, parts, accessories, gadgets, tyres, lubricants; then you have the race trucks and trailers and all the main associations ready to share information on the hundreds of year-round events that take place up and down the country.

And, of course, the TMX News and Dirt Bike Rider crews will be sited stage centre – or next to it – with the latest issues of your fave off-road publications.

Traditional Show visitor favourites will again be catered for, with on-stage entertainment, hosted by the one and only Jack Burnicle, live action out in halls four and five with Arena Trials, Danny Butler's MTB spectacular, the International Dirt Bike Show Minibike Supercross and the have-a-go Electric Zone.

Younger members of the family are catered for too with ‘My First Honda Licence', ‘Strider Bikes' and ‘Kids Quads'.

After its popularity last year, the amazing ‘Wall of Death' will again be situated out front adjacent to the catering units.

There are real savings to be made by buying in advance. Adult admission is £8 in advance for the opening day, Thursday, October 29, or £13 for Friday through to Sunday.

Those aged over 60, or between 11 and 15 can visit the Show on any day for just £8 with an advance ticket, and children aged ten and under go free.

Save on admission

For every ten adult tickets bought together, the 11th is free so why not get a group of friends, family or club members together and save even more? There are no booking fees and parking is free and plentiful.

With so much going on all at the one venue, it's easy to see why for thousands and thousands of dirt bike fans, their families and friends, the International Dirt Bike Show is a must-do trip not to be missed!
