The SPEA FIM Trial World Championship will stage two rounds at Nord Vue, Armathwaite near Carlisle on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May.

British stars like Dougie Lampkin, James Dabill, Michael Brown and Alexz Wigg will all be taking on the might of the world but with the benefit of being on home soil.

The big guns like Toni Bou, Adam Raga, Albert Cabastany and Jeroni Fajardo will be out in force to keep the British riders at bay.

Stars of the future will also be out to show what they are made of with the FIM Youth Trials Championship and the FIM Junior Trials Championship. The British contingent in these both these classes are currently leading the way.

Jonathan Richardson is heading the standings in the Youth Championship and Alexz Wigg is holding the fort in the Junior Championship. This should give the home crowd something to cheer for.

A lot of work and effort has been put into the design of the course so it will be the ultimate test of skill for the riders. The sections are also set to thrill the spectators who are expected to turn out in force to cheer on the local riders. Fearsome drops, steps and huge rocks have all been brought into play – the bravest man will win.

The event has also secured a title sponsor on the form of www.lloydmotorgroup which is the North of England's largest prestige motor dealer group. It is excellent to see local business getting behind the World Trial.

Advance tickets can be bought at discounted prices from the World Trial web site www.britishtrialgp.com . This is an event not to be missed so get along to Nord Vue, Armathwaite near Carlisle and see the best trials riders in the world tackle one of the toughest circuits yet.
