Dougie Lampkin and friends takes on the Alps
By Team TMX on 19th Jun 13
Twelve-time FIM Trial World Champion Dougie Lampkin explains why his manager - Jake Miller, a builder - Paul Dixon, a plumber - James Lampkin, progress manager - Woody Hole and of course Dougie himself will all suffer twelve days or so in the saddle as they pedal from Chorley to Nice via the Alps.
They will cover over one thousand miles to raise as much money as possible for a very special children's hospice - Derian House. The short lived pain the team will suffer is nothing in comparison to what some children and families endure.
The team of friends know that every pound that they raise will make a difference and they have been training hard ready for their long journey south and are looking towards each and every one of you to please donate generously.
Donations can be made by visiting www.justgiving.com/pedaldealps or by sending cheques payable to Derian House to Pedal de Alps HQ, 3 The Old Court House, Tenterden Street, Bury, UK - BL9 0AL
