Eastwood banned from MXdN

Mark Eastwood will not be the manager of the British Motocross des Nations team at Franciacorta, Italy, on October 4!
Still a current racer Eastwood, who has guided the ACU team at the Nations for the last two years and last week made a controversial choice of riders, was extremely criticial of the FIM, Youthstream and Giuseppe Luongo in a recent magazine interview.
As a result the ACU has been informed that Mark was considered 'persona non grata' for the forthcoming world team contest.
An official statement from the ACU is expected this afternoon, and understandably no-one at the British federation wished to speak about the matter in advance, but it known that the ACU remain fully behind Eastwood's chosen line-up of Brad Anderson, Tommy Searle and Carl Nunn and that any replacement manager will not be permitted to make changes.
It is however feasible that the chosen team members could withdraw from the team out of solidarity with Eastwood.
