EMX Sparks British Masters Fires Into 2026 With Monster Mountain Warm-Up
By Team TMX on 9th Apr 26
The countdown is on for the 2026 Amped EMX Sparks British Masters, with the series set to roar into life with a two-day Warm-Up Event at Monster Mountain MX on April 18-19.
Following a hugely successful 2025 campaign, the championship returns bigger and broader in scope, further cementing its reputation as one of the UK’s leading youth-focused motocross series - now expanded to include petrol-powered 65cc and 85cc classes alongside its established electric categories.
The EMX Sparks British Masters has quickly established itself as a key stepping stone for young riders, offering a structured and professionally run environment that caters for all levels. From three-year-olds on electric balance bikes through to youth racers on full-size machinery, the series continues to bridge the gap between grassroots and competitive racing.
Its emphasis on accessibility, rider development and family-friendly competition has seen it attract both newcomers and experienced riders in growing numbers.
The Warm-Up weekend provides the perfect opportunity for riders to get dialled in ahead of the opening championship round in May. Set at the popular South Wales Monster Mountain MX venue, the event will feature a full race format alongside practice sessions, with three tracks in operation to maximise track time.
Riders can also expect professional timing via the MyLaps transponder system, a structured race-day format and on-site camping from Friday afternoon - ensuring a full weekend of action both on and off the track.
A strong entry is expected, with riders from across the UK looking to fine-tune their setups before the championship gets underway on May 9-10.
Backed by title sponsor Amped Bikes, the 2026 series will span six rounds at multiple venues, featuring a wide range of classes - from electric balance bikes (12” to 20”+) through to E-Mini, E65 and E8/E9 categories.
New for 2026, the addition of petrol 65cc and 85cc classes further strengthens the pathway for young riders progressing through the ranks.
An expanded awards package adds further incentive this season, with trophies for the top three in each class, trophy boards for fourth to tenth, and finisher medals for all competitors. Red plates will mark championship leaders, while fastest lap awards will be up for grabs at every round.
In a major boost, all 2026 champions will receive free registration and entries for the 2027 series, while the Amped Bikes Challenge will see one standout rider competing on an Amped machine win a brand-new bike at the end of the season.
With entries now open at www.emxsparks.co.uk and demand already high, the EMX Sparks British Masters looks set for another landmark year as it continues to drive the evolution of youth motocross in the UK.
