Enduro News: Staying Indoors
By Team TMX on 14th Aug 15
With less than three months to go until Eddys Indoor at Stafford Showground it was time to visit the venue and size up what its going to take to make this happen and make it memorable.
Two of the most experienced enduro guys in the country had a stroll around and after over an hour they were both in complete agreement about the venue – It is big!
Bigger than some of the European Super Enduro venues according to Julian Stevens.
Paul Edmondson was accompanied by Julian as the pair took in all aspects of the venue, from the arena itself to the parking and paddock facilities.
On-site bars and restaurants will be more than able to accommodate the large numbers of spectators expected at the event on November 1, while the actual arena will hold a course that has plenty of room to manoeuvre and keep racing competitive from the international Pro class through to the Youth class.
Spectators will have terrific, uninterrupted views of the action from the first floor balcony that runs around three sides of the indoor arena and from floor level.
There is already plenty of interest from both spectators and riders with several enquiries from international riders of the highest level.
Further updates will be forthcoming over the next couple of months but in the words of Paul Edmondson: ‘It's on and it's going to be a cracking event!'
