European Motocross Brad Anderson EMX2T
The debut on the Fantic went well for Nicholas Lapucci as the Italian led every lap to win the first moto of the fourth round of the European 2-Stroke Championship in Pietramurata, Italy. However, Verde Substance KTM's Brad Anderson delivered a very solid performance for second to increase his lead in the championship he now sits on 169 points.
Federico Tuani finished third ahead of Kade Tinkler-Walker and Manuel Iacopi. Tuani's second place moved him to second in the standings but still 52 points behind Britain's Anderson.
Another one of Ando's championship rivals Eugenio Barbaglia's could only manage ninth place, which has slipped him down to third in the standings on 110 points.
With three motos left in the series one more this afternoon and another two on Saturday Ando is in commanding position but can't afford any complacency.
