Ferme'ly staying put

THERE was a lot of discussion in the trials world over last summer when the option of relocating the Scottish Six Days Trial parc ferme out of Fort William was brought-up by the SSDT committee. Much as the West End car park has been the hub of the SSDT for many years, the current format isn't ideal.
Other than being extremely exposed to the weather, as last year's conditions highlighted, it isn't big enough to provide the facilities needed for a parc ferme, a trade village, a car park and a fuel storage centre.
