Check out the action at the penultimate round of the 2012 British Sprint Enduro Series on Saturday, June 16, 'free of charge' thanks to Watling Tyres and Michelin.

Husqvarna ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship organiser, GMC Events, announced this week that thanks to Michelin and Watling Tyres, the south east's number one independent tyre dealer, round nine of the series, which takes place on Saturday, June 16, will feature a ‘free gate' with all spectators coming along to watch the action granted complimentary access for the day.

As one of the series' long-standing sponsors, Michelin has joined forces with Watling Tyres to offer free entry to the penultimate round of the series, which despite the recent wet weather looks set to bring the 2012 campaign to a action-packed conclusion.

In both the Elite and Under 23 classes, champions will be decided at Canada Heights. Jordan Rose leads Daryl Bolter and Tom Church in the Elite class, while in the Under 23 category, Danny McCanney has one hand on yet another BSEC title, though he will face stiff competition from fellow Manxman, Alex Rockwell.

Jonty Edmunds of GMC Events: "We're thrilled to be able to offer free entry to spectators who come along to the penultimate round of the Husqvarna ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship at Canada Heights on Saturday, and deeply grateful to both Watling Tyres and Michelin, who've made this possible.

"As the final stop of the series, and with titles still to be decided in a number of classes, there shouldn't be a shortage of memorable racing around the fantastic Canada Heights facility."

The venue is situated off Button Street, Swanley, Kent (BR8 8DX), which is off the A20 between Farningham and Swanley road. Leave the M20 or M25 at the Swanley Interchange (Junction 3 M25) and  following the brown 'Brands Hatch' chequered flag signs. On the roundabout underneath the motorway pick up the event signs.

Entry is free of charge on Saturday, June 16. Then on Sunday, June 17, admission will be £10 each for adults, including a championship programme. Under 14 year olds go free and overnight camping is £10.

Racing starts at 9.30am both days. A sighting lap, starting at 9am, will be followed by four timed laps during the morning session before a 30-minute break. A four-lap afternoon session will then take place.

On Sunday the event will end with a prize-giving ceremony.

Catering and toilet facilities will be available on site.
