Gaerne Riders 1 & 2 in British Youth Motocross

Josh Waterman on the Danger UK KTM rode to a sensible third place at the final round of the ACU Maxxis British Youth Championship which was enough to give him the Championship.
All he needed to do was score one point in the first moto and the titlewas his. He rode a steady race finishing on the podium, and picking upthe points he needed.
His main rival, Luke Hawkins on the PARHomes Honda did his best to pull back the title by securing poleposition and taking the win by almost seven seconds over second placedrider Conner Walkley on the Kawasaki.
With the pressure offWaterman was able to go out and take a relaxed but dominant win in thesecond moto. He started in fourth place but wasted no time in gettingto the front and pulling an eight second lead over second place riderWalkley.
The final step of the podium went to Hawkins who finished second in the Championship.
This brings the four round series to an end, but ACU Events has already confirmed the class will continue in 2010.
