Get ready for some big Gas Gas news

A big news story is expected to break next week regarding whats going on at Gas Gas now that the Girona-based concern is under the ownership of electric bike manufacturer Torrot.
Britain's long-standing Gas Gas importer John Shirt met several of the new management at the recent EICMA show in Milan and is very excited about the future prospects. He tells us that the new management is already contacting component suppliers and trials bike production is planned for as early as February/March next year.
Meanwhile, John is planning to keep his current GGUK trials team including Michael Brown, Alexz Wigg, Sam Haslam, Dan Thorpe and Katy Sunter and, of course, keeping all those Gassers out there going.
The trials bikes will be first into production and it is understood that a new, updated enduro model will follow only when they are happy it will be competitive against market-leading opposition.
