News has emerged this week that 23 year old Valentin Guillod will now no longer be making his debut MXGP in 2016 with the Standing Construct Yamaha Yamalube team.

The three times MX2 GP winner have parted ways following an alleged dissagrement regarding training and competition structure.

Guillod was set to cross over to the YZ450F to contest the MXGP with the same team that he has been with for the past two years, having already turned down a big offer for Suzuki (on the eve of the Belgian GP)

It now looks as though the relationship between the Swiss and the Belgian crew has crumbled. However news is that Guillod will continue working with Yves Demaria,  meaning the former 250cc GP winner has also parted ways.

Guillod is planning to contest the Supercross in Genova, Italy this weekend and also Supercross Paris-Lille next week. But on what machine is still not clear.

One thing is for sure, Standing Construct will once more be dedicated to solely the MX2 class with Julien Lieber and Alex Tonkov on the YZ250F.
