THE Spanish Sherco factory has just released news of an exciting tenth Anniversary model designed specifically to commemorate their ten years of manufacturing trials bikes. This exclusive Limited Edition bike will be available in both 290 two-stroke and 3.2 4T models. This new Sherco tenth anniversary edition is intended as a tribute to the brand and to all of the many models that have left the factory in Montbui, Barcelona, during the past ten-years.
The graphic design very much follows the lines of the original 1999 model in red, black and yellow and is complimented by a special silver frame that contrasts sharply with the current standard model black chassis.
Both the 290 and the 3.2 4T tenth Anniversary bikes will benefit from all the development that has made it so competitive throughout those ten- years to bring it to the level it has achieved up to the present date. The 3.2 4T, which is now recognised as a superbly designed bike and ridden by factory number one Albert Cabestany, will incorporate all the latest developments. The confidence in this model is shown by the fact that half of the Sherco entry in this year's Scottish Six Days Trial, which starts next week, will be mounted on a 3.2 4T model.
As a bonus to every customer purchasing a 10th Anniversary bike, they will receive a 3m x 3m Sherco Easy-Up free of charge. Just the job for those summer two/ three-day trials!
The new Anniversary bike, in both models, will be on view at the Scottish next week and the first batch is due to arrive at the British importer MRS as early as next week.
The price for these bikes will be 4,400 for the 290 and 4,999 for the 3.2 4T. Unfortunately the price of the new bike does reflect the change in the Euro exchange but the normal models will remain at the existing prices.
