Hawk International CANCELLED

Following heavy rains on Friday night/ Saturday morning, which lead to flooding of parts of the circuit and parking areas, and a forecast of snow on Sunday, the organisers of the Hawk International at Hawkstone Park on Sunday, February 10, have cancelled the event.
On Saturday the HIMX Facebook page carried the folowing quote from the organisers: "We are so disappointed we've had to cancel. Everyone at HIMX has worked so hard since last year to make the event awesome.
"The One thing we can't predict is the weather and despite all our best efforts to make the event happen its not possible.
"The rain last night was so heavy that it has flooded all the paddocks, fields and some of the track. Heavy snow is forecast for tomorrow (Sunday).
"We are very sorry and I don't think anyone is more upset or disappointed than us.
"The difficult decision had to be made first thing, so it wasn't made more complicated in the morning. It was a very tough decision to make."
