Julius Mikula lined up for the British Grand Prix aboard what’s understood to be a next-generation KTM machine, as the Osicka KTM squad quietly rolled out updated hardware for the Czech charger. No big launch or fanfare, just straight into the deep end at one of the most technical, old-school tracks on the calendar.

Running inside the top 10 and battling established factory names all weekend, the young Czech banked another top five overall – his second of the season – against stacked opposition.

On track, the bike didn’t particularly stand out, which, in many ways, tells you everything. No obvious drama or glaring weaknesses – just a solid platform that allowed Mikula to run consistent laps and stay in the fight. In a class where margins are tight, that’s often the biggest compliment you can give a new machine.

Of course, without official confirmation from KTM, the exact spec remains under wraps but the look is definitely different as you can see from our exclusive images.
