Mixed month for our title-tilting sidecar stars ROUNDS NINE through 11 of the world sidecarcross championships are a real up and down affair for British stars Stuart Brown and Luke Peters. The plucky pairing start their month's travels in Latvia but Stu and Luke are just slightly off their normal lightning-fast pace - a 10th and an engine problem related dnf is a disappointing result. But things are looking up at the next round in Croatia. A career-best-equalling first race second is backed up by a come-from-behind eighth which sees the boys set the fastest lap of the race in the Croatian mud. Another awesome ride through the pack from last to seventh is a good start to their day in Bulgaria but disaster strikes in moto two when Stu and Luke are nailed from behind in the first corner with disastrous consequences. Luke's carted off to the local hospital with a broken tib and fib which will leave him sidelined for the rest of the season. But luckily Luke's big brother Jason is going to step into the chair for the remainder of the season. With three round of the championship remaining the Brown and Peters team will be looking to claw back into the top three of the standings - go Brownie!
