This weekend Hondas CRF150R riders will tackle the deep sand of Lommel in the penultimate round of the 2015 Honda 150 European Championship, just days after the Czech Republic event.
Last time out saw Emil Weckman's championship lead reduced to just three points, with Albin Larsen's overall win moving him closer to the red plate. Jack Bintcliffe was also able to reduce his point deficit in the championship with a performance that saw him on the second step of the podium. Weckman will be looking to earn maximum points this weekend and maintain his grip on the championship lead.
Hakon Fredrikson, who made his 2015 podium debut last weekend, will be looking to continue this momentum in Belgium and move past the eighth-placed Tatu Junnola in the championship standings. Tim Edberg will also be looking to score big points after a first moto crash brought to an end his string of top five finishes that began in the first event.
Viking Lindstrom and Alexis Collignon, who currently sit fifth and sixth in the championship respectively, will be looking to close the gap to the fourth-placed Edberg. Both riders had good results in Loket and will aim to transfer this from the hard pack to the sand.
