Is this your bike?
By TMX Archives on 2nd May 12
Over the years we've featured countless stolen bikes both in-print and online. And it makes a nice change to report on a bike that the Police have recovered.
But for this to have the storybook ending we need to find the owner of the bike.
The Police are trying to find the owner of this 2009 model, KTM SX250F. It was found by police in South London on March 27 (2012), devoid of all numbers (VIN and engine) – but these have now been restored!
Known history:– Early to mid 2010 this bike was PX'd into Elderfield Motorcycles
It is unknown as to where the bike went from there, but it would have been stolen after mid 2010.
If this is your bike, you will need to provide VIN and Engine numbers plus a crime reference number covering the theft of the vehicle.
The first part of VIN/ Frame No is VBKMXJ4389M12? and the engine number contains the numbers 9-7703?.
If you wish to claim the bike, then contact Mike Pilbeam of the Metropolitan Police Service on 0207-230-7771 or 07909-997389.
