Riders are invited to attend the 2016 Minibike Champs, with race events every month from March through to October visiting to the best tracks across the country, such as Kieradan Park, Champs Parc, FatCat Moto Parc and Apex MX.

Catering for all abilities Minibike Champs events are run throughout the UK.

There are race classes for Kids 50cc, Youth 125cc and six Adult classes – 88cc, 110cc, Masters 35-years and over, Expert B-A and the very impressive Pro Class, catering for minibike racers across Europe.

Series organiser Jamie Courtney runs quality weekend race events affiliated to the MC Federation and provides a professional fun friendly environment.

How does the race event work?

Pre-entry opens three weeks before events which are listed on the Minibike Champs website – www.minibikechamps.com – once pre-entered you will have peace of mind knowing you have a space guaranteed as numbers are limited and spaces are booked on a first-come, first-served basis, with an average number of 200 racers per event.

Sign-on opens at 8am on  Saturday mornings, with riders registering for either one or both days and paying their entry fees and visit the timing truck to collect their hired transponder.

This is followed at 10am with practice and timed qualifying sessions for all groups starting with the Kids 50cc class running through to the Expert group, which is s[plit between A and B groups with the fastest riders getting first gate pick.

Race day sees all classes enjoying three blocks of races.

Once racing is completed there is a short break for the Pro riders to grab a drink before the presentations, where the top six positions in the kids' classes are presented with trophy boards.

The top three in the adult race classes at most events bag some awesome prizes supplied by sponsors of the series.

After a fun-filled day of racing the majority of the paddock fires up the BBQ and cracks a few beverages and a enjoys good chin wag about the day's action.

Then Sunday morning sees a freshly prepped track and the whole thing starts again.

The organising team would like to offer huge congratulations to all of the 2015 Skye Energy Minibike British Champions: Kids 50cc – Leo Vowles; Youth 125cc – Leon Flint; 88cc – Russell Kilbey; 110cc – Nathan Marsden; Masters 160cc – Dale Howard; Pro 125cc – Blaine Blackwell; and Pro 160cc – Frank Van Homoet.
