The second round of the Maxxis British Championship rolled into the Mallory Park Race circuit in Leicestershire for the first time this weekend. With the 2010 motocross season hotting up and with riders competing from Russia, USA, Latvia, Sweden, Germany, South Africa, France and Ireland as well as the British boys, this is truly the championship to be seen in.
As they say "What a difference a week makes!” as the circuit at Mallory Park after a weeks long preparation and pruning by Justin Barclay and the ACU Events team, along with all the hard workers from the Mallory team was in perfect condition. As Sunday arrived the spectators lined the circuit in anticipation of some upsets from the likes of the young guns Ken Roczen and his team mate Arnaud Tonus in the MX2 class, along with former World Champion and a replacement for Pascal Lauret, Mickael Pichon in the MX1 class.
