DOORS open at the 2007 Dirt Bike Show in just over a month's time and the news that its indoor Live Action Arena will feature an electric mix of star-studded minibike mayhem plus an all-new trials show from Steve Colley is sure to be a crowd-puller for the event, now in its eighth year at Stoneleigh Park.
Following the success of last year's minibike display, for 2007 professionals from the world of MX, BMX and Mountain Bikes will be banging bars to see who's the fastest around a custom-built indoor track. Expect to see plenty of bar-to-bar action as they race through a hybrid track featuring a mix of dirt and man-made obstacles.
Carl Nunn is confirmed to be out on the minibike track, along with a few other MXGP riders, to be joined by World Champion downhill mountain biker Steve Peat and a host of the country's top biking talent.
Adding to the excitement is a new minibike freestyle crew, who will be spinning and flipping their way through a demonstration show that will literally have the riders reaching the rafters.
On top of all this, Steve Showtime Colley is back by popular demand. Steve is promising a ''whole new show'' for 2007, including a purpose-built mobile stunt rig and glamorous stunt girls, making the experience ''bigger & better than ever.'' Steve combines madcap tricks with breath-taking displays of skill, including the world famous mono bike, which has no front wheel! Steve is the only trials rider in the world to perform this stunt.
