IWAN Roberts, one of Britains hottest prospects on the trials scene, will be riding Beta again next season having recently signed an important contract, drawn-up between Britains Beta importer John Lampkin and the Top Trial Team in Italy.

Iwan will become the TTT No.1 rider and contest the FIM World Cup, which he almost won this year, and the European Championship with the assistance of Michele Bosi of TTT. The 19-year-old Welsh Champion will be backed in the British Championship and other major British events including the Scottish Six Days and the Scott by John Lampkin.
Iwan was happy to stay with Beta, despite having several other tempting offers, following a season where his results just got better and better.
He won several World Cup events as he chased the title and his year culminated in victory at the final British Championship round on the north Yorkshire moors, promoted by the Guisborough club.
John Lampkin said: "We are very pleased Iwan has got a place with the TTT. In previous years the team has done very well for riders like James Dabill, Michael Brown, Jack Challoner etc., and I think it is the next best ride to a full factory position.
"I think to have a team at World championship level is critical for bike set-up and general support over a busy weekend.
"The aim next year is to fight for the World Junior Cup and improve his BC overall. This year has been excellent for Iwan, with the highlight being his World Cup and British championship wins.
"I am obviously very pleased he will continue to ride Beta next year and I will do everything possible to help him achieve the results he is aiming for.”
