Jeffrey Herlings to race in USA rumour reaches melting point
By Team TMX on 5th Mar 19
The possibility of Jeffrey Herlings going to race in the USA is reaching all new heights of hype.
The rumour mill of Herlings switching to race the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship later this year has been simmering along for a while now, but after the news that he would miss the opening round with no further recovery update until the middle of March (at the earliest), the boil started to intensify.
Several US media outlets have had their say and they think it's a no brainer for what many think is the fastest motocrosser on the planet. The latest of which is The Whiskey Throttle Show who are hopeful it's true and speculate that a number of American riders are feeling very nervous right now. "If he comes over I personally think he'll be the favourite," said Grant Langston on the show.
A little birdie has told us that KTM is playing down the extent of Herlings' foot injury, which certainly adds some fuel to the fire oh, the pot is boiling along nicely now! Check out the video below to hear what The Whiskey Throttle Show had to say on Herlings and the AMA outdoors rumour.
