By Team TMX on 27th Nov 15
After winning the first edition of the 24MX Alestrem and having won almost all the Hard Enduro races this year, Jonny Walker returns to the south of France to defend his No.1 plate.
The 2015 season Hard Enduro season was dominated by Jonny. After his victory in the very first edition of the 24MX Alestrem, Walker went on to win Hell's Gate in Italy, Red Bull Romaniacs and the legendary Erzberg Rodeo.
The 24-year old Brit also shone in the SuperEnduro World Championship where he came third behind Taddy Blasuziak and Cody Webb. He confirmed his versatility with excellent results in Endurocross and Extreme enduro races.
So when the second 24MX Alestrem kicks off on the weekend of January 23/24 all eyes will be on Walker once again.
However he will face fierce competition from Graham Jarvis, Manuel and Andreas Lettenbichler and many more. To ensure an even more exciting event the format has been tweaked with a more selective prologue, a more intense and harder race course and with batched starts of 10 riders at a time for the main event.
In the best hard enduro tradition the challenges riders have to tackle will increase as the race progresses.
