Jordan came away smelling of Roses

Electraction TMs Jordan Rose secured a double victory at rounds five and six of the Husqvarna ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship in Saints Well, Mid Wales. Gas Gas UKs Danny McCanney and Husabergs Alex Rockwell shared victory in Under 23 as KTMs Steve Holcombe remains unbeaten in the Under 19 class.
The Husqvarna ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship moved into Wales for the first time in 2012 over the Easter weekend as the 10-round series reached its halfway point. With the picturesque Welsh countryside providing a stunning backdrop, event organisers GMC Events laid on an enjoyable but in places challenging course.
Mixing traditional Welsh style grassy tracks with a motocross course, while adding in some tricky woodland and a small but exciting extreme section, riders faced a tough but enjoyable weekend of racing. Adding in the unpredictable Welsh weather ensured everyone was kept on their toes.
Electraction TM's Jordan Rose was keen for success. Showing flashes of speed throughout the season, Rose finally delivered and recorded two impressive victories. Finding himself two seconds down after the opening special test of the weekend, he quickly began to up his pace.
