Keeping the Spanish crowd on their feet for the duration of the night, Taddy Blazusiak delivered a last gasp dash for victory to win the 16th edition of the Enduro Indoor de Barcelona.

As the longest running indoor enduro on the off-road calendar, the Enduro Indoor de Barcelona in the Palau Sant Jordi stadium always produces close and exciting racing.

Despite not being part of the SuperEnduro World Championship, the race still attracted a host of talent with Jonny Walker (KTM), the Husqvarna pairing of Alfredo Gomez and Mathias Bellino, Gas Gas' Dani Gibert and Sherco's Lorenzo Santolino among others all joining Blazusiak in Spain.

Hitting the ground running in the first of three heats, Blazusiak produced an almost perfect start-to-finish win. But thoughts of Blazusiak stealing the show were short lived in race two when he found himself in a world of trouble to finish sixth.

With his back against the wall, the KTM rider fought his way into contention to win the final race and with it steal the overall victory.

"I have to say I really enjoyed tonight,” told Blazusiak. "The racing was so close all night – to be honest it was anyone's to win.

"I managed to lead from the beginning in race one and take a fairly comfortable win but in the reversed start race two it wasn't easy. I made a bunch of mistakes and dropped back to sixth.

"It was all on the line for the final race. Mathias was pushing hard out front and I had to fight to catch him. With about a lap to go I managed to pass him for the win but it wasn't until the race was over I realised I also got the overall.”
