FOLLOWING heavy overnight rain and with a bitterly cold Arctic gale sweeping across the country, round four of the Wilden Winter championships had its all weather credentials tested to the limits as it found itself held in the grip of an icy storm.

As usual though the Kidderminster venue came through with flying colours living up to it's billing as the premier winter MX attraction, delivering yet another day of cracking racing action.
Josh Waterman's debut on the Danger UK KTM couldn't have gone any better producing three pulsating race wins in the Adult Four-stroke section. He had to work hard however to reel in and over power a fast starting Matt Gardiner who eventually finished in second overall.
Josh Spinks again looked a class apart as he took all three Adult Two-stroke races by the scruff of the neck during the opening laps of each encounter to completely dominate the days proceedings. Ben Mycock had three solid rides to make second place his own as Darren Webster got the better of Nathan Housely for third.
Joe Jones charged through the Youth 125cc field, taking the chequered flag ahead of Charles Statt, and Adam Wells. Adam also took the award of being the ‘Best Race of the Day' in the Youth 125cc division.
Dan Thornhill sliced through the conditions and the opposition to win all three Big-wheel 85cc races with plenty to spare. In his wake however Corie Southwood caught the eye as he battled through to claim second overall followed by Harry Bradley and another fine show from Liam Knight in fourth.
