Jubilant Scots Inn high spirits

AFTER a hugely successful championship season the Scottish Twin-shock SC held its annual dinner dance and trophy presentation night at the Ochil View Inn, Fishcross, Clackmannan, last Friday, October 26.
With the venue a complete sell-out, all the riders and supporters made merry throughout the night to celebrate what has been a superb Twin-shock racing year for the club.
Trophies were presented down to sixth place in each class and club director, Bill Bruce, very kindly offered his services to present the lucky winners with their silverware.
Taking the overall club championship trophy for the seventh time was Paul Chiappa, who now retains the much sought-after No 1 plate for next season.
Although some people at this time last year thought that Paul may never get back to racing after the horrendous accident he suffered at Kincardine in 2006, he certainly proved he's back because he s riding as fast and as confident as ever and has been more than a worthy club champion for 2007.
The next gathering of the Scottish Twin-shock SC is the annual AGM which is to be held at the Stables Lounge, Crook of Devon, near Kinross on November 25, when all the shouting and bawling will begin at 2.30pm.
All interested parties are invited to come along and air their views for any improvements, or indeed any other business they need to discuss for 2008. The final 2007 club championship positions are as follows.
